A ROWOOD tile is about 16% of the weight of a conventional clay or concrete tile.

ROWOOD can be cut, bent and shaped to meet the most demanding roof design from 12 degrees to 90 degrees pitch.

ROWOOD is tested to withstand severe weather conditions involving wind, rain, snow, salt, heat and cold.

ROWOOD Roofing System is suitable for:

  • Roofs for Traditional and Non-Traditional Housing (including extensions)
  • Flat roof conversions

  •

ROWOOD Roofing System gives many other benefits; manufacture of the roof tile produces approximately 50% less CO2 than production of traditional clay or concrete tiles.

As a metre of ROWOOD tiles weigh only 16% of a metre of clay tiles, less fuel is consumed delivering to site.

At the end of their life, ROWOOD tiles are 99% recyclable. No landfill required.

From a health and safety perspective, using ROWOOD lightweight roof tiles on site give massive benefits to roofing contractors at all stages of development.

It is possible to lay twice the metrage of ROWOOD roof tiles as conventional slate or clay tiles in the same time.

Due to their light weight and tile size, ROWOOD roof tiles can also be used in modular construction developments where the major roof structures are manufactured off site.

Lifetime cost and product defects are much lower with ROWOOD roof tiles compared to traditional roof tiles.
